I went to Blackpool to see the Illuminations yesterday and these are 3 of the shots I took. The one of the pier would have been better if I had been at the other side of it so the sun wasn't in front of me but we didn't make it that far during the day. Having never used my camera at night the other 2 shots were the best I could do with the time and gear I had with me, no tripod for example. I'll have to do some more night shooting to get used to the settings needed. Any comments and advice are welcome as always

must have been exceedingly windy,
even the tower is bending in the wind.
 
Like the second one. Thinking of going up to Blackpool today now that the clocks have gone back.
