Hello all.
Just joined here last night, so hope im posting this in the right place!
Im very much a beginner, and I realise this isnt a perfect photo...but wanted to share, as its my first ever half decent wild animal, taken with my new nikon 200-500 lens.
She stood and stared at me for a good minute or 2...while I got all flustered trying to get the camera ready and get a shot before she ran!
CC very much welcome!

PS have I added the photo to the post in the correct way?
I couldnt work out how to add it by flickr url...

Welcome to the forum ... that's a lovely shot with only the bit of twig at the front causing distraction for me.
To import from Flickr, look for the arrow shape to the bottom right of your photo on Flickr and click on it ... cut and paste the link shown for 'BBCode'

aha its the BBcode! I think I tried every one but that one! Thank you, and thanks for the comment on the photo, I was so excited to get it!
