Never tried to take anything like this but would love the opportunity one day.
You've got the plane nice and sharp and I love the flames out the back. I don't know if you had the opportunity but it would have been nice to have had a slightly less distracting background.

Personally I like the background, its a working jet departing a working background, nice touch having the Typhoon in the background, CBY from the mound ?

Nice timing too, getting the background which allows both candles lit to be seen.
I may be wrong, but I think it's the opposite side of the runway to the mound - maybe looking towards 11 or 3 HAS Site?
