Devils Quoits

[Martipa]

Shots taken yesterday evening at the Devils Quoits a Neolithic henge and stone circle not far from Witney at the village of Stanton Harcourt. When the WW2 airfield was constructed the site was badly damaged Excavations took place in the 70's and 80's apparently mapping the origional plan The site was then reconstructed between 2002 and 2008 with some of the origional stones and replacements from the local area.
