Wow! Truly excellent shots! #1 is superb, but #2 absolutely *pops* out of my monitor!
So sharp and perfect colour. Is that the 105VR you're using btw? I've seen nothing but great images from that lens - its on my wish list!

All fab but 1 gets it for me too. So simple, wonderful balance but most of all, the stalks somehow look like creatures back to back looking out at the world.
