Yes
After using a digital camera Nikon d40 for the last year, I decided I wanted to get back to a film camera.
I first had the om10 in the early eighties and I loved it

On ebay over the last month I have bought

Olympus om10 with 50mm,80-200mm lens and a T20 flash £24
Olympus om1 with 50mm lens £22
Olympus om2 with 50mm lens and a cable release £38

I have tested them all out with a roll of film and results are fantastic.

:)Thats a brill deal
OM1 and OM2 were quite a bit more expensive than OM10s
You do have to bear in mind, though, that some OM1/OM2s are at least 30 years old

Tell me :cautious: ....was the zoom lens a Zuiko lens ??

good deal that, well done.

but why do you need 3 film cameras

Why have 3 film cameras?

How about one loaded with general purpose negative film; one with slide film; one with fast B&W film?

Or one with a prime and another with a zoom?

Yes, you did !
I used an OM1 and 2 for many years - even dropped off the back on my motorbike on a motorway, and it still worked..
Great cameras in my opinion !

The forum will not allow me to upload an image (maybe not posted enough yet)
I will use colour in the om10 b&w in the om2 and save the om1 as a back up.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys/girls

I have more cameras than you can shake a flippin stick at :wacky:

Can't have too many, especially if they're cheap :)

had an OM2 with a 1.4 lens, boy was it sharp, small but not too small.

Enjoy your new cameras.

I have an OM10 and T20 flash too - great wee camera, looking for some high speed BW slide film for it now (Old man has a Nikon slide scanner, so no problems with scanning them into my PC!!)
