Now I'm onto using extension arms (from an idea by someone I know on Facebook).

These are Mobile Phone Clip Holders with 360 Ball Heads and Hot Shoe Adapter Mounts for Camera Tripods, etc.

I've added two images that show them in position on my Yongnuo Twin Flash, and a few images taken quickly tonight with my diffusion method. Still need to do adjustments to power ratios (even though its on ETTL most still needed a tweak in LR, the Topaz Denoise before PS editing and sizing.

Looks like it`s working for you Paul. I like the Lock and Key shot.

Having tried a Crafty Bells diffuser (which works, but isn't easy to attach to a twin flash and needs more flash power to get through it) I today went back to my own diffusion as above, but this time with a piece of added Vellum Paper arched over my lens so that the light out of the diffused heads pass through a further concave layer (the vellum).

This photo is one of those arts and craft kits with multi-coloured plastic pieces that are inserted into an art design background that is covered in glue, and the plastic "bits" go onto the background.

The light from the diffusion and the flash set at -1/3ETTL at f/8 and 1/250sec.
