No
have bought one of the aldi portable bandsaws and was looking for
spare blades for it. i can see plenty for sale on e-bay
what i would like to know what is the number of teeth per inch do i need to cut metal
will be max of 50 by 50 mm 3mm thick wall ? or 50 by 50 angle iron 3mm thick

what about if i want to cut wood how many teeth per inch ? for a neat finish

Usually the more teeth the better for a smooth cut. I’ve never used a bandsaw for metal work though, disc cutter is usually the way I go.

I thought the Aldi bandsaws were for wood only?? And you need a slower cutting one for metal

That looks like a scary tool.

As Mr bump says wear a full face shield and I would certainly not use it as a hand tool.

I really don't see what it does, that something like an evolution mitre saw wouldn't do.

It's easier to take a look for the correct length of blade, Wood blades will have much finer blades than metal cutting.
50mm * 3mm square is quite a chunky bit of metal I would wonder if that saw will manage many cuts.
Axminster power tools sell blades which offer a decent lifespan and a clean cut Bandsaw blades
If you're doing both wood and metal then the evolution circular saws are pretty hard to beat evolution stuff

it will cut through a railway track in about 5min so its up to the job i need it for
