Interesting set of photos. Quite like the framing on a number of them but they do also look a little soft/blurred - might be worth locking down a slightly faster shutter speed (for isntance photo #7 is shot at 1/20th - maybe aim for 1/60th until you've got the hang of panning and you're gettting sharper shots). Also your sensor badly needs a clean - the first couple of photos especially show the dust spots.

Thankyou stew, the sensor has now been cleaned and #7 was more of a test shot at 1/20.
