Hi there
I am in Dorset this week (13th-17th May, Wareham area) and I was wondering if there’s anyone local with some time on their hands and who'd like to show me a few cool places around.
I have books, guides, etc. but I guess I'm looking for a bit of local info.
Sorry for short notice by the way.

Too far away for me but I can point you at a few places within 10 or so miles of Wareham that are worth a frame or 2...

Starting with Bovington, you have a choice of the tank museum or Monkey world (as seen on TV in Monkey Life and Monkey Business).
Along the coast is Durdle Door then heading East from there, Stair Hole and Lulworth bay, followed by the abandoned village of Tyneham (check range times for opening), Kimmeridge bay, Swannage and Studland bay. Back inland a mile or 2 is Corfe Castle (or what Cromwell's lot failed to destroy!)

Thanks Nod.
I did not have as much time as I would have liked but I managed to visit a few locations. Definitely a place to go back to one day.
