I think so Les, just makes the colours pop a bit more :)

I just posted them as shot Roger- just me being Lazy........ ...................................................................................................Oh no I mean me being Busy :D

Good captures, Les :) - the edits are an improvement for me.

Russ

Thank you I appreciate your comments

Love no 1. Very sharp and detailed image.

My personal fave, thank you

Who says you can't take dragonflies with a long lens. I'm sure you know but your blue dragonfly is a male Migrant Hawker.

I agree Mark, However: I can't seem to get close enough with the 105mm so its the 150-600mm or a 70-200mm f2.8 and yes I do know it's a Migrant Hawker- I get them all the time
here on the Levels- thanks for taking the time to comment

Les :)

I always find a long lens is much better fro dragonflies than the macro as the reach means you can avoid spooking them. Like the head on common darter but following your edits they seem a bit too bright now
