Shot with Venus + 1.4x TC for the Holly Blue and the rest are Tamron 150-600mm with 36mm tube.

I'm slighty concerned the TC is affecting the optical excellence of the Venus but further testing required.

Nice set I like the holly blue.........your Meadow Brown is a speckled wood.........One which i have`nt seen yet on my patch.

I loved it too spent about an hour with it getting all sorts of angles ... took it 45 mins for it to open its wings lol ;)

Love the No.1, though butterfly is not my thing.

yep great shots with a really big macro lens, makes you wonder if you need a macro lens:clap:

Thanks for the comment, butterflies macro Lens is not a requirement. :D but you can see that a macro Lens sure is sharp look at #1. :)
