The images in all three parts of this series were captured on the same day using my G80 and 45-175 lens with Raynox 150 or 250 close-up lens (apart from 1.8 in the first part, which was very small - I might have used something more powerful for that). All used a KX800 twin flash. All were hand-held and used autofocus and f/22.

The raw files were batch processed in DXO Optics Pro and Silkypix, with image-specific adjustments in Lightroom. There are 1300 pixel high versions of these images in this album at Flickr.

I`m really liking this beetle in the last shot, great stuff Nick.

The beetle eating and the close up of the cricket are my faves.
