Cool. I likes that one for the added detail in the clouds, but thought the actual helicopter looked a little bit odd.

I dont mind the 'copter being a bit darker, it makes sense with the fact it is in cloud cover

Just has a look at the exif data and realised I should have used shutter priority as the SS was far too high for props.

These are cool, I like the 1st and 3rd! A slower shutter speed to blur the rotors more would be awesome.

Yeah, I was gutted I got that wrong, because I had been thinking about setting it lower when I knew it had landed. Stupid muscle memory flicking the camera into Aperture priority all the time.

It's all part of learning and practise Hopefully you'll get more shots at it - Although at the same time, hopefully no one ever needs an air ambulance!

Mix of shot one and three. I like one as blue sky with some clouds, but I prefer the angle of the helicopter in photo 3.

Can't argue with you there. The background is certainly better on the first one.
