Edinburgh Castle Tattoo Fireworks 1 by Jim Tod, on FlickrWent out tonight with hopes of a nice sunset but sadly disappointed. Hung around as it darkened to see whether I could get an image from Edinburgh Castle and the colours from the Tattoo. Fireworks started - I was shooting with a cable release with only a few seconds between shots and 4-5 second exposures. Absolutely certain I'd nailed most of the show only to realise on review that I'd cropped too tight into the castle and I've got a load of shots of exploding fireworks with the tops cut off.
I'll try to rescue some but this one had all the fireworks in and I'd appreciate critique on this
