Edinburgh cranes at sunset

The ever changing skyline in Edinburgh. It never seems to stay still. Give it time and this view point will change again.
Normally I would be one for lifting the shadows but on this occasion I like the muted effect of the lower third leaving the eye to soak up the cranes against the sunset.

It has some excellent vantage points, it can be super busy when the weather is this good so be prepared to jostle for position

Very nice- I personally would lift the foreground slightly- to balance out the lights from various windows within the shot

Cheers Les, I did wrestle with the idea but as you know decided against it. Good thing is it is easy enough to go back and have a play with the shadows and see how it looks with the foreground lifted just a little.
