Edinburgh sunset from Jacobs Ladder

Taken from Jacob's Ladder, this was 3 bracketed shots run through Photomatix then exported to Photoshop as a TIFF file for final tweaks.

Does anyone have any top tips on how to stop these shots looking a bit flat? I tweaked the curves and boosted the contrast slightly to help but it still looks a tad flat.

You can tell its been HDR'd but I think it works quite well. Not over done.

I would suggest increasing the blacks a touch though, I think it might give you that something you were after. :)

Cheers Rob,
Yeah HDR was the only option to get the whole scene exposed correctly due to lack of ND grads.

Will try and punch the blacks up slightly.
Cheers!
