Last weekend we set off at 3am to climb El Teide, the volcano at the centre of Tenerife, before sunrise. It was a long old slog. Here are a few of my favourite photos from the adventure after hauling my camera up. In general, the photos from low light conditions are very grainy because I shot them in high ISO (perhaps this is less of an issue with newer cameras than my Canon 40D) and I felt overall that my shots were slightly underexposed and a little washed out so I have tweaked the levels a little.
