Both excellent shots and the first time I've seen a shot of Bolton Abbey station from that angle, I didn't realise you could get on that side of the railway...

We were there last year but on a 'None Train' day, so we went for a wander down to Bolton Bridge (and back)

Both excellent shots and the first time I've seen a shot of Bolton Abbey station from that angle, I didn't realise you could get on that side of the railway...

Walk to the far end of the station car park (the end of the line) and there's a footpath that takes you round the other side of the line.

I really like No.2, however if No1 was my image I would crop it on the right hand side between the signal box and the stabled carriages, print it big and put it on the wall.
