Many colours on the pond at this time of the year Daniel, in addition to the colours on the Emperor of course. The black is part of the stone surround and rockery on the far side (10 ' wide) and I lay by the edge of the pond on the lawn and got a pain in the neck looking through the viewfinder Lol. I could have got a tripod and set it very low but I was concerned that it might fly off in the meantime so went route1. The upside is I was on eye-level with it..not that it noticed me...

. I wondered what it was doing.I thought it was feeding but on what I didn't know. I'll google what happens next,then. Very interesting.
