I had no intention of going out this morning but I awoke before my alarm at 7am, looked out of the window and saw a good dusting of snow and promising sky conditions.

25 minutes later I was sat here on Clogwyn Mawr, a wonderful belvedere which towers over my home and our lovely village.

A great way to start my day :)

Stunning shot and what a beautiful location to live in, am very envious.:)

Just a superbly taken view across the mountains- well done for getting up there in time to catch it.

Thanks Duncan and Steve, not a photo I'm particularly thrilled by but an illustration of what a wonderful place I live in and how fortunate I am to be able to nip up a hill before work and see the day in ;)

Very jealous that you have such stunning landscapes on your doorstep. Lovely photo

Great texture and interest. The light is also lovely, great effort braving the cold before work.

Lovely shot Nick, and a sign that our lovely mountains are due to have their winter coats.

The sooner the better!
