So I watched The Conjuring last night and it put me in mind of photos that I used to take a lot of; old houses in various states of decay. So I trawled through the archives and found this one which was taken back in 2009. I think the location was rural County Cavan but I'm not totally sure. Anyhow, my processing skills have come on a bit since then so I ran it through LR and then Silver Efex Pro 2 for a B&W conversion. Normally the flare would be off putting but in this case it helps to create the atmosphere that I need for an old haunted house.
The Conjuring; a good classic horror movie although I'm sure Hollywood has taken plenty of creative licence and then some.
