Hi All !! I gave my Russian FED 4 an outing loaded with half a cassette of outdated Kodak Tri-X ( I had CUT the film left over from using it in my Boy's Konica Autoreflex TC ) I also tried some exposures using my Sekonic L-438 'Spot Meter' I had been given some years ago -- getting used to it now -- it is accurate for one reading IF you know what is a 'Medium Gray Tone'. Lens was the 53mm f2.8 Industar and I tried several at full aperture and it was sharp enough !! I must have a 'Good One' that was 'checked' by the Glorious Soviet Comrades properly. I developed the film in home-made ID11 formula 1+1 for 9.5 mins at 21 oC ( too lazy to get it down to 20oC) and I have done some 10x8" darkroom prints of some negs.

An excellent set Pete, nice to see the 'old comrades' are still in good nick.
