This time of year brings out competitive fishermen in The Fens... spotted this onthe way back from Peterborough last weekend.

As a match fisherman photos 3-5 mean the most to me- they are great photos that take me to the match, the competition excitement and action. photos 1-2 don't have that much anticipation. 4 is top notch to me.

Thanks for your comments. I've never considered that there is much "excitement and action" at these events. Although, I have to say, when I parked up to take some shots towards the end of the event the angler thought he was the first to be weighed (by me). He was quite relieved to find I was only taking some shots.
