Film Photography Showcase Thread 2013

As I mentioned in a thread within the Film and Conventional Discussion section, sometimes there are some wonderful Film Images that never get exposed to a wider audience... Often they get buried in the "Massive Show Us Your Film Shots Thread", and before they get seen, they've already dropped off the current page.

This is a Terrible shame, so in an effort to save this happening, I thought "Why not have a Showcase Thread..."

So... This is it.

If anyone sees a particularly stunning image shot on film, PM me with a link to the "single post" that it's in (and with a pointer to the image concerned if the single post has a number of shots in there)

At the moment, I'm thinking that I'll add an image weekly (though I reserve the right to change the frequency depending on the number of nominations, how busy I am, or - frankly - if there's just something too damned good not to include.)

Again, an eclectic selection of nominations, but there was one image, which despite being "accidental" in it's origin, actually created an incredibly powerful image...

Week 47/48 - 18th Nov to 1st Dec

Well, I think it was pretty much a unanimous verdict this week - not only did the winning shot get far more nominations than anything else in the past fortnight, it also managed to scoop the Staff Photo of the Week... the first time a Film shot has won that particular nomination.

Week 52 - 23rd Dec to 31st Dec

Yes, I know, technically it's a bit more than a week, but I've been away for a few days without access to a computer and only occasional mobile coverage, so I thought I'd add in the extra couple of days and move the cut-off for 2014's showcase thread as being mid-week to avoid clashing with the Staff POTW announcements.

Anyhoo - back to this weeks nominations - I've just spent the last couple of hours looking around and there were again two shots that were nominated and frankly I couldn't bear to decide between them... so they're both included
