Hi all, I spent a week in Oulu, Finland, really lovely place, only had one clear morning /day so it was rude no to get out there and grab a few shots, really strange with a sunrise at 10am and 4 1/2 of daylight.
These shots were from the local beach.
No idea on the temperature but after 1 hour my fingers were frozen.

The first for me. It’s such a curious picture to see something that you associate so much with the most wonderful season (summer) surrounded by the desolation and misery that comes with the very worst season (winter)

The life guard lookout and changing cabins were both purposely in shot to link them.
As you put it i had not thought about the summer and winter difference.
Im kicking myself that i didn't go in February just for the extra snow, we love it.
