First attempt at wire spinning

Well, that's strictly not true. This is the very first attempt. First time spinner, first time spinner photographer! The end flew off my spinner and it ended very quickly.

This is the 2nd attempt though. Was good fun and next time I'm going to choose a location where the sparks hit objects and bounce. Exposure time was 60 seconds but the spinner had spun out way before then and I didn't realise what the final outcome was going to be and that there would be so many sparks as it didn't look like that live as he was doing it!

Looks like some sort of crazy war mask!
I'm not a fan of wire wool spinning at all but this one with a twist works well.

Love the second and had a few of the first shots myself. It can become quite addictive photography
