Hi all,

Finally managed to get a shot of a Jumping Spider, having struggled to see where they were I googled the best places to find them - in the sun, on brickwork, in between cracks on doors etc. so I went outside and found two on the wooden garage door. Probably a silly question but do they always move about quite frantically? Was trying to get a face on shot but with it being on the door that wasn't really very easy so this is the best I could do.

Nice work Joel, I like the second one best.

I have a wooden fence in my garden where I am sure to see several running around on hot sunny days. Unfortunately it's when they are hot they are at their most active too, but they'll usually pose for a shot or two with some perseverance.
 
Nice shots of these adorable little spiders.
3rd shot for me as its not so bright but it's showing lots of detail.
2nd shot is a very close call with the 3rd.
