Good stuff, agree with the above about the tight crop but the 2nd attempt is about spot on I'd say

The first crop is cleaner though - the very bottom is a bit messy - I’d therefore stick with the original rendition

Yeah bottom is a little more messy than I thought, personally I’d go for something in between, definitely in front of that larger stone to the right of centre.
