Hi Ben, nice start :) What were you trying to achieve and are you happy with them?

Steven @sk66 is right there is a blue cast to these and they do seem a tad soft.

Presumably these were taken for a clothing supplier? They're good but maybe you could have arranged them slightly more tidily, and in a way which shows off the logo? I don't think you want perfection though, it'd be a fine line. There are a few marks and creases which could be attended to in photoshop, too.

Will fix the colour issue, (being colour blind sucks..!)

What do you guys mean "soft focus look" they look pin sharp when I zoom in on lightroom?

It's the color cast "haze"... they are sharp. This is with the color cast removed (levels adjustment in PS).

The blue cast may well be part of the artistic intent!

… as the mat look and the pasty skin tons that I don't
fancy that much may be as well.

You directed the girl very well but it seems you did not
communicate so well with the guy… or you misjudge the
effect of the shadow of his right hand.

Darn cool results for a first! (y)

The three images seem to be lacking contrast by a small degree, the blacks just seem to have a light haze to them. The first image of the girl and the second now I've looked again has an area on her bottom lip where the light falls away RH side which makes the lower lip look a bit odd. Of course it may be that her lower lip is like that, I'd be surprised and if it was I'd have personally done something to iron that out. Nice set.

Regards

Tim
