First Red 2015

Here is my first large red damselfly of the year. About a week later than last year, and as I walked around the Woodland Gardens in Bushy Park, I wasnt feeling very hopeful. But then I spotted two exuvia, and then saw this male nearby. Hopefully the warm weather will continue and it will be a bumper dragonfly year.

That's a lovely shot, I've been looking for a few weeks now but no sign of any here and I'm in a much warmer climate
