First shot of the year - Snowdonia

Hello folks.

I haven't posted in ages and due to getting my book finished I felt my photography suffered a bit last year. I aim to put that right in 2019.

Last night I was guiding a group up Moel Siabod for the New Years Eve celebrations and didn't get down until 3am this morning so felt a bit sluggish today and went for a short stroll above Nant Gwynant where I found this gnarled hawthorn.

Well seen and captured, lovely light. The light also helps minimise the impact of that ####ing pipeline, which can intrude on and (because I hate it!) stop me taking many shots towards Cwm Dyli from the south of Nant Gwynant.

Your new year sounds better than mine I was at work on night shift (at leats I was off at Christmas) now you just to keep it up for the rest of the year.
