I'm planning on organising a meet here: http://fleetpond.org.uk/
It's quite good for nature and bird photography.
No date yet but a Sunday is better for me.
If anyone is interested register your interest and we'll take it from there.

I’ve now visited this place twice.
The side where the car park and train station are, there are viewing / fishing platforms.
It’s a 2.5 mile walk around the pond and I would guess that less than ½ mile of any view of the pond.
The walk around is nice but the other side it mainly in the woods with no views of the pond itself.
Apart from the usual ducks, swans and geese, I’ve seen grey squirrels, blue tits, song thrush, a heron, wagtails and tree creepers.
Close by is Ancells Farm Nature Reserve (https://www.hiwwt.org.uk/nature-reserves/ancells-farm-nature-reserve).
I’ve not had a chance to visit it yet but it looks quite promising.

I’ve been doing a bit more research and there are a couple of other interesting nature reserves in Hampshire with bird hides: https://www.hiwwt.org.uk/nature-reserves/blashford-lakes-nature-reserve and https://www.hiwwt.org.uk/nature-reserves/testwood-lakes-nature-reserve
I’m going to plan a visit to both and check them out.

    Thanks for the update.

I recall reading here at TP of folk that have visited Blashford and Testwood Lakes reserves and both those accounts are worthy of attention.......so I look forward to your insights.

Another reserve of note is the one near Portsmouth/Gosport...........now what is its name???
    Edit ~ found it https://www.hiwwt.org.uk/nature-reserves/farlington-marshes-nature-reserve

I'm planning on going to Blashford on Thursday morning although rather annoyingly they don't open the hides until 9:00AM although you can still walk around on the paths.
