Beginner Flickr printing.

Had anyone used Flickr to get any prints of photos they have uploaded there?

Never knew they did that?

Having said that, using such a service partner relies on:-

Uploading print ready files (why would you do that to a file sharing service?)

Trusting the quality of an unspecified (?) print service?

Got a link to that service offering for UK..?

I don't know whether they ship to the UK, don't know the ins and outs of it, that's why I asked if anyone has experience with it. As for print ready images, I upload full size images and restrict download permissions on my images.

Had a look at the Q&A section for it and it says the following:

Shipping locations and fees
  • The 50 U.S. states and select territories.
  • 200 international locations (eligible countries can be found on the Order Placement page).
  • Shipments outside the U.S. may carry import taxes, custom duties, and fees in addition to product and shipping costs. These extra charges are borne by the order recipient.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot ship to military bases at this time.
Had a quick look at the Order Placement page and it says for a 16x20 photo mount delivered to UK on standard delivery (10-14 business days) is $47.99

I have no idea on the quality but would think that you would be better off using a UK based printer as the shipping costs alone are pretty high. We have had some canvases done at the office and used Tradecanvasprint who we were very happy with and I they did used to do a discount for members on here.
