Floating Acrylics

Hi, I'm looking for info regarding making my own acrylic floating frames. Does anyone know of a supplier who does the acrylic sheets and the stand offs. For any other members out there who do acrylics, whats the best thickness and size of stand offs for an A3 and A2 size print? Should I be going for polished edges when ordering acrylic sheets? Any info on getting started on acrylic presentations would be much appreciated. thanks.

I take it you mean an acrylic within a frame but a gap all around the acrylic and the frame?

I mean an image sandwiched between 2 sheets of acrylic and hung so the its away from the wall using stand offs.

when we used to do these we used 10mm acrylic for the front and back.

they are not the cheapest around but sell the acrylic, standoffs and the springy thing for hanging them.

they are other supplies out there , we used a local acrylic supplier who drilled the holes and polished the edges of the acrylic to a mirror finish.
