Flowers.... also great sadness

I've toyed with macro shots of flowers & thought i'd try today so off to Glasgow Botanical gardens. It was wet windy & cold. I wanted to try the old canon 70-210 with macro. i took about 7 shots & liked what i was getting. I decided to try 50mm on wee flower that was hard to get to. While changing lens with still cold hands i dropped it so this will be last macro shots for while

eeks not good about hte lens,
lovely colours and original compo, only thing i would sya is check where you are focussing as the focus point isnt landing on the centre of the flower., and thats really the place you want it on these type of shots.

focus in #1 is good
colours in #2 great, but focus needs to be on flower centre (as already noted!)

i'm going to strip down later, just had look min ago funny enough pull up & down fine, zoom in & out grinds a little near end. Also has slight dent at bottom making it hard to put on camera but can fix that easy enough, depend what i find when i look in. making it worse last couple on flebay went for over £100 grrr lol
