Flowers - any tips?

So I thought I'd buy a few flowers and take a photograph of them each... with art prints in mind.

I'm not using a macro lens, and I'm shooting at f32 - so there's a room for improvement in the quality of the image, I know this - I think stacking with a macro rail would be good, but that's further down the line.

I just used a beauty dish for these, keeping it simple with one light.

Straight up, I'm not thrilled about the Gerbera - but then I wasn't thrilled about it in the shop - after picking the sunflower nothing else looked worthwhile, the stock really wasn't too great. However I needed a bit of variety to practice with.

I have recently started to take photographs of Flowers. I take them in their natural habitat rather than a studio or with a placed background. As this is my first post I cant put a link on the page to any of the flowers. I will post it as soon as I can so you can see what I am doing. It would be great to get some comments on them
