Great to see you joining us again Jim.

Thanks Dave, should be fun (I must admit to shamelessy nicking your idea for my Post #1 though ;) )

This is a view of a famous local landmark down here in deepest East Devon, so lots of Local Interest

Stunning photo! Great composition and use of ND filter, nothing to criticise!

Lovely image, Jim. It looks like good use of a long exposure to blur the clouds and the water, and the tones are lovely. It's a well-composed and atmospheric scene.

Many thanks for the comments,it was a lovely morning actually.

Best one so far for me Jim, a cracking image and beautifully taken too with lighting bang on and just a lovely image.

Thanks Dave, I really appreciate the comments.

Not really my thing, so I don't have anything really to say except to ask whether the tripod was stable.
I ask because to me (and it might just be me) there seems to be movement blur.

No worries. Yes the tripod was stable (it's sharp when you pixel peep in LR)

Super shot to kick off your 52!!
I like the foreground lead in.

Many thanks, hopefully i'll produce some much better images this time around

Nice one - and if that's local I'm jealous!

Thanks Bob, it took my eye as I walked on the beach.

Superb image, no more to say! :)

Wonderful landscape Jim!
Excellent use of long exposure, and the subtle tonal changes in the colour of the sky...just lovely.
A striking composition really bring out the best of this very attractive scene...well done indeed!

Thanks for the comments, I really appreciate the feedback.

Local interest
I like the looks of that. The leading line (or is it lead in line, I'm never too sure) directs the eye well to the trees.
