Formula "Off Roading"

Made my first visit to Spa Francorchamps for the Formula 1 Grand Prix last week and although I didn't come back with images of quite what i'd have liked I am quite proud of this shot...

Here's Kevin Magnussen quite literally running Fernando Alonso off the road at what is probably the fastest part of the circuit, the final third of Kemmel straight on the run down to Les Combes.

Taken with my D7100 & 50mm at 1/40..

I like this, although I might be inclined to crop more off the bottom, you could probably clone out any remaining distraction at the bottom easily.

Thanks Alan, finally got round to making the suggested crop....

The original was quite a heavy crop in the first place so really wouldn't want to go much further.

You caught a really good sense of speed, very nice. I was on rally day with my brother last week and I wish I'd had time to play with panning and lower shutter speeds. I used a high shutter speed and while the images look ok they are a bit boring I think compared to this!
