A few nights ago, I found a dead Deer in one of our fileds. It had clearly been killed, but probably too large for a fox to attack it. However, we have had sighting of Wolves in our area (S W France), so that is more likely, as it had been partly eaten. - I have had trail-cams up ever since, and nothing until last night, when this Fox turned up and tried to drag the carcass off. - It gave up after moving it a few yards, so it will be interesting to see what happens next!

Surprisingly little visible evidence of anything feeding from it.
