I have just been offered an absolute treasure trove. The local school is being rebuilt and they are having a clearout. The janitor called me up and said they had some old darkroom equipment.
Went down, there are two Durst enlarger, boxes of ilFord paper, a bulk loader, various trays, tongs, measuring jugs, dish warmer, safety light, three developing tanks, basically everything but chemicals and thermometers.
This is all free, all I gotta do is swing by and pick it up. Its crazy, I would have bitten someones hand of in years gone by for this gear but to the schools its just junk, they are stocked with digital cameras and nobody uses this stuff anymore.
I be having some fun thats for sure.
