...But not for me ;)

Back on Friday the 13th (March 2020) I got real lucky, I spotted my 1st non hibernating butterfly species, for the start of the 2020 season.
I had already seen both Comma an Peacock, so it was a surprise to see this fresh Small White butterfly, in the long grasses, in my back garden, here in Kent.
Since my dog will bite/eat at anything I show an interest in, I carefully placed the butterfly somewhere safe, in order that it take on some food/nectar.
I also beat my record, for the earliest sighting of a non hibernation species, at the start of my butterfly season, so another bonus there.
I really did just stumble on this sighting, I could have easily missed this little beauty...what a lucky find for sure.

A couple of images, both are not cropped. Cheers Paul.
1st image, shows the butterfly on my small finger.
2nd image shows the butterfly nectaring, on one of my garden flowers.
