From hot to cold

I spent Saturday morning on loughrigg fell hoping for and inversion but it was meant to be. I did witness a lovely sunrise and grabbed a nice shot of the langdale pikes catching the early morning sun.

I had planned to drive up to blea tarn but as i drove past the brathay i pulled in because of the hoar frost. I spent the next hour or so shooting the corner by the bridge as it was was still in shade.

Excellent. The only one that isn’t really doing it for me is 2 - not enough breathing space around the trees, although that might have been impossible...

I'm normally a 'warm' person but that touch of light on the tree in number 3 wins it for me.
