From the 'Booty' this morning.

(y)

I've got an EM (had it since new ), been trying to trade it recently for a Grande Latte, but it looks as if I may have been asking too much :bonk:

This thread is worthless without pics...:D

I can't find out anything about prinz, except they were distributed by...Dixons..eh ? or.....I dunno maybe not.
And they might actually be manufactured by Rollei.

A couple of web quotes"

"Prinz cameras were made by Hakin, Chinon, Recula, Vredeborch and Wirgin."

"By the mid-fifties, massive growth meant that their purchasing power was increased and Stanley Kalms began regular visits to the Far East to negotiate the manufacture of cameras designed for Dixons. Soon, their own-brand Prinz cameras were on sale at their six large stores."

Prinz is a lyrical geniussses, I loved that little red courgette single in 1999..

Prinz has links all over the gaff, Dixons did sell it though.

Dixons is a British electronics and photographic retail company, which distributed a number of cameras under the brand Prinz. In 2007, the Dixons name was removed from high-street shops and went entirely online; the shops were closed or renamed Currys.digital.
