I think its excellent, but I bet you cranked your neck getting it.

You are really drawn into the sky but for me I would lighten the tympanum a bit though. It detracts from the overall image and takes emphasis away from the sky.

The foreground seems slight off level aswell, its slightly higher on the right side of the image.

Really like the shot though.

Very striking.

Is that the original sky ?

I only ask as we're obviously looking upwards but the clouds seem more like we're looking horizontally towards them if that makes sense.

I'm also guessing its not the original sky as the sun seems to come from the bottom left of the picture looking at the cloud highlights but if that were the case, the arch would be in shadow.
Agreed it is a striking and different image though

I agree a stunning take on a unsual doorway- the sky however seems a little out of place
