Frosty bubbles!

A couple of weeks ago I finally got around to trying some frozen bubble photos. I shall be trying again when our next cold spell arrives!

I think these have got great promise and the actual bubbles themselves look good - but I'm not sure about the backgrounds / surroundings in any of them. I think I'd have another go at the first three but set up in a much 'cleaner' background.

This was just a first try. The decking was the most accessible for me to get close enough where the surface was cold enough.

I like the first two, nice textures and the decking background works ok as far as I'm concerned. Not so keen on the others, the reflections are distracting in no's 4 and 6 and the collapsed bubble just looks a bit.... sad , lol.

Interesting concept - how do you get the bubbles to NOT burst on contact please?
