First go at still life -I think, with OCF

I am no one to critique such photography , but I like it . Think your composition would improve if you had a little more space on the left , and took a little off the right . What`s OCF ?

True,it would also benefit from rimlighting on the back but I have not worked out how to do that yet as I only have two flash units.
OCF,off camera flash.

It's a good first try. The image lacks subtlety, with relatively hard lighting from front left and very punchy bright colours & tones, and that makes the image look rather flat instead of having depth. Others here could give you much better advice than me about how to light the image to give it more sense of depth.
