Appreciate that... (from one George to another!)

Very nice Fujigraph Sir, good composition, nice colour, and some lovely reflections.
"I'll not comment on the exposure as the last time I complimented you on your exposure you corrected me . All I'll say then is it looks good TO ME"
cash back deals are on at park cameras.
Same with Wex too
Doesn't seem as good as previous ones ?
Just had a look and appears slightly better than last winters offers, for example 10-24mm was £80 last time, this year its £95.
Yes but haven't the prices gone up this month?
Black Friday is where the real savings can be made....
When I had the Canon 70-200mm f4 IS L that weight never bothered me, just seen the Fuji 16-55mm f2.8 WR is lighter, so I am now stumped what to get As I was going to get the 35mm f2. £145 cashback on the Fuji.
Dave, in Fuji terms its a weighty beast and won't balance well on your X-T20, but will be fine on your X-T2, its a great lens but perhaps not quite as sharp as you would expect, there is at least one forum member who prefers his 18-55 lens to the 16-55. It also has no IS, so with that extra weight you may be reaching for higher ISO's to keep the shutter speed up - but it is constant F2.8 and has WR which the 18-55 does not.
Made a mistake ooops, it is the 56mm f 1.2 XF only 405g
Just ignore the cashback deals, buy the lens that you want, if you get cashback that's a bonus!
Tis true, but saying that.....
Blimey, just seen the 10-24mm is now a quid shy of 900, has got £95 cashback though.
One on Amazon for 759 which should also qualify for cashback as its from them direct, if you want one snap it up now for the bargain final price of 664 quid
I can see that I am jumping, but like you said ignore the cashback deals and get the lens I want. So I am going to stick with my first choice, which is the 35mm f2 as it is the lens I really do want to add to my X-T2.
Nothing to do with me, but there is one in the classifieds that looks a decent deal
Nearly bought it myself this morning until I did a search and realized I hardly take anything at that focal length
Even better just turned out all my lenses to put in a new bag I bought this morning and found I had a 35mm f1.4,
Forgot all about it, no wonder I haven't got anything much at that specific distance, might give it a go tomorrow
For some reason the oblong hood from it was stuck on the 60mm, can't recall doing that either, shot to bits!!
I had one of those. Also found I never used it. Sold it and haven't missed it.
I'm talking about the lens: not that orange bag of yours.
I am going to get it brand new
One good thing, I won't ever misplace that bag, it really is rather bright https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lowepro-Nova-Sport-Shoulder-Camera/dp/B00F5JH6L2
That's twice today.
Hey @tijuana taxi
Just because I looked at your amazon link my cookies have picked it up, and every website I visit has the orange monstrosity spread across the top of it.
I'll get you back.
Might bring it to the Sheffield meet, even nicer in real life
What is? You or the bag?

The bag, definitely
Ha, great work! My 35/1.4 is my second most used lens
Bit more messing around with a Tak 55mm 1.8 and the Lens Turbo. In this case, the shallow DoF was an advantage, I think.

Well the 90mm has gone managed a straight swap for a 10-24 which I miss and would use more. So 10-24, 16-50 and 35 1.4 is lens line up now and will pick up a 50-230 in next few months.
The refurb store has the X-T20 with 16-50mm lens in stock for £699 - bargain! They also have it with the 18-55mm for £899 : still a good deal
A few taken today. Poor light but quite happy with them. been years since I picked up a camera so felt quite nervous lol. Waterfall was the first attempt at that kind of shot. All jpg straight out of the camera and no editing, apart from my daughter and I think a slight sharpen of the blue flower.
Nice set of Fujigraphs Sir, with to last two being particularly pleasing to me.
Bit lurid maybe? But as @Nod can tell you, that's kind of how it is!

One from earlier in the year, I don't seem to be able to find much time to process photos at the moment, but of a back log!

Double check approved suppliers on cash back as Amazon don’t always qualify as they often supply non-UK lenses.
They provide cashback from Amazon.co.uk not marketplace sellers as clearly stated here
I have used them myself on two occasions
Lovely Fujigraph Sir, liking this portrait very much.
Yup, that's how it is! And yes, the lamp posts are that squiffy as well, as are some of the buildings.
Managed to get out for a walk today, still have this horrible bug though.
