Garden Bug

Many thanks Alf. So simple! I looked on numerous web sites and googled both photo and description with no results.
Better not get the bug killer out.
 
Nice shots and nice colours, they love Aphids, I got a shot on my flickr with a aphid halfway in its mouth :wideyed:.
Echo above, amazing how they change.

That is a viscous killing machine that will turn into a vicous killing machine of a beetle.
 
Lady birds are great for getting rid of all those annoying aphids. Nice find don't find a lot of lady birds around locally.
