Here is a group Katiannidae springtails on the surface of some water in a discarded takeawy caron in the garden.

I throw my take aways away in our garden and Debbie always picks it up and puts it in the bin....Grrrr.

Look for some stagnent pools of water with weed in.

then I have also found them on rockpools on a beach folow the link I have seen those twice east and west coast when I had landscape kit.
